For our third EP, Stokkmo shows up with his time-shifting single entitled 'Memories'. The EP follows with tracks which are all remixes from multi-versed artists around the globe which are CMKD, CLSR, Everlasting Joy and LIES.
The subtle guitar-work, which actually holds the framework, is smooth enough to carry you through the depths of your mind and on its side, drums which seem to have met the right hands guides a deep and momentaneous low-tone thrum which evokes a blurred dream-like state. Intense and absorbing, this track tends to create an environment where for some, moments are created and where for others, memories are carved.
UK based CMKD with his rule-bending talent in crafting waves, translated the track while keeping the rhythm and yet, ever-so-slightly implementing it into a bass one while enveloping it with a tremendous beat structure. CMKD, who is also known as Comakid, on his monicker of a more idm/ambient form. Another featured London-based artist, Everlasting Joy, adds an emotive edge to this EP using collectively warm pieces and instruments at a slow pace to enhance the listening experience.
Are you in for some sturdy percussion? Good; The duo LIES, from Southern Italy, dropped with some and hyped things up a notch with their electronic touch. electrocaïne's homeslice, Frank Valat or better known as CLSR, emphasised on the background guitar chords and provided a high-noted drum maneuver to merge and harmonise with the rhythm altogether.
With a decree to share good music and strictly with no genre boundaries, electrocaïne's music releases are about total artistic freedom during the age of Internet anarchy. The freedom is all about embracing various genres ranging from easy-listening to peak-time electronic to eclectic sounds. Behind the curtains, in the green rooms of the world, the electrocaïne collective get to work like clockwork elves, cranking out the elements that make the show go on. Hit the lights.
